No more 'Datuk Seri' and 'Datuk', you become a 'Nenek' lah!

Chua Jui Meng, a former Vice-President of MCA, former Malaysian Minister of Health, former Member of Parliament, was stripped of the Datuk Seri and Datuk given by the late Sultan Mahmud Iskandar. However he still has the title Datuk that has been conferred to him by the Sultan of Selangor and Pahang.

There was no reason given by the Johor Royal Council in the press conference but they just confirmed that he does not have the title anymore. Chua Jui Meng has changed his Political Party to Parti Keadilan Rakyat, an opposition party and he was also elected as a supreme council of the party.

What does this show us? The Barisan Nasional has the ability to do anything they want including influencing the Sultan? It is not for me to judge.
